  1. Step 1: Clean the mushrooms and slice them about 5 mm thick. Heat a little cooking oil in a frying pan, add the mushrooms and sauté until softened and lightly browned. Season lightly with salt.

Uses 200 g champignon mushrooms · Cooking oil, a little for frying · Salt, to taste

  2. Step 2: Add about one ladleful of beef broth to the cooked mushrooms and let it bubble until the mushrooms are tender and the liquid has reduced.

Uses Sautéed mushrooms · Beef broth, about one ladleful

  3. Step 3: Add the two fully cooked smoked pork chops. Turn them to brown both sides and heat them through according to their product directions; keep the mushrooms from burning and let any remaining broth reduce to a coating sauce.

Uses Mushrooms in reduced broth · 2 fully cooked smoked pork chops

  4. Step 4: Season the hot chops and mushrooms with pepper. Serve one chop per person with the mushrooms and reduced pan juices spooned over.
