Step 1: Choose one preparation style for this ten-ball batch: coat the outsides using steps 1–6, or mix the fillings in using the alternative steps 9–13. Use the measured ingredients once. For the coated style, scoop 10 tablespoons miso onto a plate.
Step 4: Place dry ingredients onto a shallow tray or a container.
Step 6: Wrap them individually or keep them all in an airtight container.
Step 8: Stir with a swizzle till all miso is dissolve.
Step 9: Alternative mixed-in style, instead of steps 1–6: scoop the same batch quantity of 10 tablespoons miso paste into a mixing bowl. Do not start a second batch after using these ingredients for the coated style.
Step 10: Add dashi powder (1 tbsp) and ingredients.
Step 11: Combing them all together well.
Step 12: Divide it on to 10 small cling wrap sheets.
Step 13: Wrap each portion, shape it into a ball and secure the wrapping. Store the ten balls for later. To serve this alternative style, unwrap one ball, place it in a cup, add 1 cup hot water and stir until dissolved, just as for the coated style.
