Step 1: Mix all the paprika (1 teaspoon), minced garlic (1 tablespoon), measured salt (½ teaspoon), ¼ teaspoon marinade red pepper flakes, ancho chili powder (1 teaspoon), pinch of black pepper, the tablespoon of marinade olive oil (1 tablespoon) and the juice from the one marinade lime. Toss all the raw deveined, body-peeled shrimp with this complete marinade in a bowl or sealable bag. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Heat the separate measured 1 teaspoon frying olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat until the pan and oil are hot.
Step 3: Add all the refrigerated marinated shrimp together with its marinade to the hot oiled pan. Sprinkle in all the measured ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper and toss to coat. Cook about 2–3 minutes, turning or stirring as needed, until the shrimp flesh is pink and opaque throughout and the shrimp are cooked through. Continue briefly if needed, then promptly remove from heat to avoid overcooking.
Step 4: Divide the complete cooked shrimp and pan sauce into 4 portions. Serve over optional already-cooked warm white rice, with separate lime wedges, chopped cilantro and extra red pepper flakes if desired.
