Method1 step
Step 1: Divide the dry ingredients among four airtight containers: about 1/3 cup oats, 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed, 1 Tbsp hulled hemp seeds, 1/2 Tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and one small pinch salt per pack. If using a dry sweetener, add it to taste now; otherwise add it when serving. Store the dry packs in a cool, dry place, following the earliest ingredient best-before date and package storage directions. Choose either hot or cold preparation for one pack; each route uses 2/3 cup water, milk or non-dairy milk. Hot oats: stir the liquid into one dry pack. Microwave on high for 1 minute, stir, then continue in 30-second intervals until thickened. Let stand at room temperature for about 2 minutes to thicken further. Add any fresh toppings just before serving. Cold oats: stir the liquid into one dry pack, cover and refrigerate for 8 hours. Keep refrigerated for up to 3–4 days. Stir in any fresh toppings just before serving.
