Method3 steps

  1. Step 1: Mash all three peeled ripe bananas in a large bowl with a fork, leaving small chunks. Add all ½ cup flour, the egg (1) and the full ½ tbsp sugar. Mix well to form the complete fritter batter.

Uses 3 ripe bananas, peeled; author uses regular Dole bananas · ½ cup all-purpose flour · 1 egg · ½ tbsp sugar

  2. Step 2: Heat enough cooking oil in a pan for deep-frying. Carefully drop spoonfuls of the actual batter from step 1 into the hot oil, shaping each roughly round and leaving space between fritters. Deep-fry in batches, turning as needed, until golden and cooked through in the center, with no wet raw batter. Repeat with the remaining batter.

Uses Cooking oil sufficient for deep-frying, amount and actual uptake unspecified · Spoonfuls of actual banana-egg batter from step 1; spoon size and per-fritter share unspecified

  3. Step 3: Lift all the cooked fritters from step 2 with a strainer and drain on paper towels. Serve warm as four snack portions; the number of fritters depends on the spoonful size.

Uses All the actual cooked fritters from step 2; drain excess frying oil
