Method5 steps · about 30 min

  1. Step 1: Use a two-part Turkish teapot. Boil the total 1400 ml water in the lower pot. Put the black tea (4 tbsp) leaves in the upper pot and transfer 400 ml of the boiling water to it. Keep the remaining 1000 ml in the lower pot and replace the upper pot on top.

Uses 1400 ml water total (7 source cups of 200 ml) · 4 tbsp black tea

  2. Step 2: Heat the lower pot over medium heat for about 10 minutes so its steam gently heats the upper pot. Stir the upper-pot tea about every 5 minutes. Do not put the upper pot directly on the burner.
