Step 1: Add ground beef (2 pounds) and ground pork (2 pounds) to a bowl and chill in the freezer.
Step 2: Crush the ice cubes (1 pound) and place in the freezer.
Step 3: Peel the onion (1 large), cut into eight pieces and add to the food processor.
Step 4: Cut the bacon (1 pound) into inch size pieces and add to the food processor.
Step 5: Add the garlic paste (1 tbsp.) to the food processor and mince everything finely.
Step 6: Transfer to a large bowl and chill in the freezer.
Step 7: Dice cheese and bell peppers in 1/2-inch pieces.
Step 8: Preheat oven to 350 Fahrenheit.
Step 9: Remove the ice and the ground meat from the freezer.
Step 10: Work in batches in the food processor, using about 3 cups chilled ground meat per batch. Divide the total 1 lb crushed ice, salt, black pepper and marjoram among the batches and mince finely, keeping the mixture cold.
Step 11: Transfer each meat-paste batch to the chilled bacon mixture and repeat until all meat, ice and seasonings have been processed.
Step 12: Mix well by hand, then add bell peppers and cheese and mix again.
Step 13: Transfer the meat paste to loaf pans. Press meat paste down and tap the loaf pans a couple of times.
Step 14: Bake at 350 F for 1 to 1½ hours, until the meatloaves are fully cooked through.
Step 15: Leave the meatloaves in the pan for about 10 min. to cool down.
Step 16: Pour out excess water and lift meatloaf on a cutting board.
Step 17: Cut into finger thick slices and enjoy on a roll with some ketchup or mustard or serve with roasted potatoes and a side salad.
Step 18: If you don´t use the Fleischkäse immediately you can re-heat it in the microwave or in a frying pan with some oil or butter.
