Method4 steps

  1. Step 1: Put all the still-frozen green beans (16 oz) in a large pot and drizzle over the quarter-cup olive oil (1/4 cup). Season with salt to taste and put the lid on the pot.

Uses 16 oz frozen green beans, kept frozen until step 1 · 1/4 cup Olive Oil · A dash of salt, to taste

  2. Step 2: Cook the same covered pot over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally so the beans cook evenly as they release moisture.

Uses The complete covered bean pot

  3. Step 3: Keep the lid on between stirs so the beans steam in the moisture released by their ice crystals. Continue until tender to your liking, allowing them to turn slightly brownish for the softer style described by the source.

Uses All the same beans and their released moisture

  4. Step 4: Peel and finely mince the garlic (1 clove) clove. Wash and chop the cilantro (¼ cup) and measure a quarter cup. Stir all this garlic and cilantro into the actual cooked beans and continue just until the cilantro begins to wilt. Serve the complete finished beans as a side dish, portioning as needed.

Uses All the cooked beans · 1 clove Garlic · ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro, washed and chopped in step 4
